The software engineer will maintain our existing user-interface as well as take part
in designing the next-generation interface.
Software Engineers must like tuning applications for performance and have deep knowledge
about the inner-workings of Unix / Linux.
This position requires on-call shiftwork and answering n-tier support questions. It is
the S.E.'s responsibility to document and provide appropriately scaled training to peers
and support staff.
Requirements
Experience with web programming languages and technologies (Apache, HTML, CGI, JavaScript).
Experience with SQL relational databases.
Experience with Unix / Linux, C, Perl, Korn shell.
Familiarity with MS-Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio), StarOffice, or OpenOffice.
