Contract Installer
|
At SENTELCO, Contract Installers perform the hardware installation of sensors and physical
placement of related computers and communications gear.
The installer will fabricate brackets, mount enclosures, use tools such as hand drills,
saws, screwdrivers, and be exposed to chemicals such as glues, rubber sealants, and
insulating foam. The installer may fabricate enclosures or parts out of fiberglas,
sheet metal, wood, iron, aluminum, or other materials as necessary.
The installer will document their work, adhere to applicable material safe-handling
practices, and comply with relevant electrical and construction codes.
Hands-on field work is required.
This is a 1099 independent contractor position. Applicants will submit their skills and
work preferences which will be added to a pool of similar contractors. When a job comes up
requiring those skills, SENTELCO will call to check the contractor's availability.
HVAC companies who wish to participate are encouraged to apply.

Requirements
|
Proficiency with hand and bench power tools.
Knowledge of various HVAC and mechnical devices.
Knowledge of National Electric Code and building codes.
Experience with using basic programs such as PDF viewers, word processor documents,
and spreadsheets on laptop computers.
